Alex Faedo

One of the key arms for Florida's 2017 College World Series run, Faedo went 9-2 with a 2.26 ERA with 157 strikeouts in 123 innings pitched in 2017.

He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the first round in 2017, but injuries and other factors delayed his debut in the MLB until 2022.

He has bounced back and forth since with Detorit's AAA affiliate and the big club.

Last season Faedo made 15 appearances, posting a 2–5 record with a 4.45 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 64 innings.

Jonathan India

Another key member of the national title squad, 2017, was, ironically, India’s least productive year in Gainesville.

He hit .350 in 2018 with 21 home runs and was the SEC Player of the Year. He was also named an All-American.

Cincinnati drafted India with the fifth overall pick in 2018. He made his MLB debut in 2021, hit .260 with 110 RBIs over two seasons, and was the NL Rookie of the Year in 2021.

Last season India hit .244 with 17 home runs and 61 RBIs
