Florida football is aiming high in the 2025 recruiting class as Billy Napier looks to add the top talent in the country to the Gators' roster.

To do that, you can't be afraid to go after players who are already committed to some of the top schools in the country.

This upcoming weekend the Gators will host Elyiss Williams, the top-rated tight end in the 2025 class who is currently committed to Georgia.

If Napier and the Gators can make a good impression on Williams during his first visit, they could cause some havoc in the recruiting world.

Florida football: Can't contain him

At 6'7''-235, there aren't many people on the face of the earth who match up physically to Ellyis. Linebackers can't keep up with him, and corners get bullied by him.

In his junior season, he caught 25 passes for 530 yards (21.2 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns over 14 games.

With explosiveness like that, it's no wonder why Williams is rated so highly across the board in the recruiting industry. Per On3's Industry Ranking, Elyiss is the 17th-best overall player in the country, the No.1 tight end, and the fifth-best player coming out of Georgia.

This will be Elyiss' first trip to The Swamp and is an important one for the Gators' staff. It's not an easy task to take a player away from Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs, so a good first impression will determine if the Gators can become a factor in his recruitment.
