Jayvyn Fraziars to pay Florida football a visit this weekend
One of the key players for Florida football in 2024 will potentially be wide receiver Ja'Quavion Fraziars. With the departures of Ricky Pearsall and Caleb Douglas, the wide receiver room for Florida has holes it has to fill.
And while this will be the final season on paper for Fraziars barring some magic 6th year everyone seems to be pulling out of the hat, it might not be the last season to have a Fraziars in a Gator uniform.
Florida Football: Next Man Up
Jayvyn Fraziars is listed at 6'2" and 180 pounds. Like Ja'Quavion, Jayvyn attends Dunellon High School an hour away from Gainesville.
Jayvyn Fraziars is listed as a WR/DB athlete, but the bulk of his junior season film showcases his strengths at safety. Even though he is "only" 180 pounds, he feels like he plays much more physical than that. Ball carriers are frequently stopped in their tracks and when he is asked to play along the line of scrimmage and get after the QB, chip attempts by opposing running backs seldom seem to slow him down.
Fraziars is currently unraked by all four recruiting services, and while his film lacks the "wow" plays we see out of five-star prospects, it's solid enough that we could see Fraziars as a three-star once recruiting rankings roll over.
He currently holds offers from Arkansas, Oregon State, and Iowa State. He announced on social media that he will be in Gainesville this weekend for an unofficial visit and we wouldn't be shocked if he leaves Gainesville with an offer from Billy Napier and staff.
