Four plays from Florida Football that have saved Billy Napier from getting fired

With some better fortune, Florida would have had a winning record the past two seasons. But just as easily, four plays the other way could have had Billy Napier already out the door.

Jaydon Hill Pick Six Against Missouri

This was the "Welcome Back" game for Jaydon Hill, who had been sidelined with a knee injury after tearing his ACL in 2021 and injuring his other knee during spring practice.

This was a game that was never in real danger for the Gators, but one they never made comfortable for themselves. Florida's offense was meandering all day long, and Anthony Richardson was just 8/14 for 66 yards with one TD and one interception.

Hill's pick six gave Florida a 10-0 lead in the first quarter before Missouri eventually tied it before halftime. Florida managed to scratch across two touchdowns in the second half, the second of which was set up after Hill picked off a second pass as Missouri was driving.

With the final score being 24-17, the game could have gone to OT without Hill's pick six and would have been an outright loss if not for the pick six and second interception deep in Florida territory.

Flip this game and there is no bowl game for Florida in 2022.
