Canyon Barry was with Florida Basketball for the 2016-17 season as the Gators made a run to the Elite Eight, averaging 11.4 points per game, including 30 points in a game against Auburn.

The son of basketball hall of fame member Rick Barry, Canyon came to Florida after three seasons with College of Charleston. When he college basketball days ended, Barry never made it to the NBA as he bounced around a couple international teams before playing a handful of seasons with the Iowa Wolves, the G League affiliate for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

But Barry has found a home playing 3x3 basketball, a fast-paced, half-court style introduced at the Tokyo Olympics.

It was announced today that Barry will be on the Team USA squad for the upcoming Paris Olympics alongside Jimmer Fredette, Kareem Maddox and Dylan Travis.
