Florida Softball: What time do the Gators face Texas in the WCWS?

After winning 1-0 over Oklahoma State, Florida Softball is in the Women's College World Series winner bracket in Oklahoma City.

Next up for the Gators is match up against the number one overall seed in the tournament, the Texas Longhorns.

Florida Softball: Just Keep Winning

After Katie Kistler hit a home run and scored the only run of the game thanks to Keagan Rothrock pitching a complete game shutout, Florida will take on Texas at 7 PM on ESPN.

Florida enters the game 52-13, while Texas is 53-8. The Longhorns beat Stanford 4-0 in their opening game of the WCWS.

The winner of this game will advance to Monday and will be just one win away from advancing to the championship series.

The loser will have to play on Sunday against the winner of Alabama vs Duke, and then would have to beat the winner of UCLA vs Oklahoma twice on Monday to advance to the championship series.

In 2022, the Gators won their first game in Oklahoma City before losing their next two to be eliminated from the tournament.
