Florida football may have sleepwalked its way to the finish line with its 2024 class, falling outside of the top ten and losing some of its top commitments.
However, the core of the class is still as strong as most teams in the country, headlined by several five-star talents who could be program-changing players.
This afternoon, Under Armour is set to host their All-America Game in Orlando, Florida, where over 80 of the top players from the 2024 class will take the field and showcase their skills.
Gator fans will be able to watch QB DJ Lagway, LB Myles Graham, and LB Aaron Chiles on the field.
Florida football: New wave of talent
This year's All-America Game takes place today at 4:00 pm and will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+.
The game is between Team Fire and Team Ice, and you'll find the big three Gators' signees all on Team Fire.
Florida's punter commit, Bobby Engstler, will also be on the field today, but on the other sideline for Team Ice.
Some fans may not be very interested in watching a bunch of high schoolers play football and may view these games as just extra practice for them as they get ready for college.
But for a lot of these players, this is their first game action on national TV, where they have their shot to give the whole country a taste of what's to come in their careers.
For Florida fans, today's game could be a bit of a glimpse into the future. They'll get to watch DJ Lagway sling the ball all over the field, as well as watch Graham and Chiles get their first game reps as teammates at linebacker.
These three Gators have the chance to show the whole country the type of talent that Billy Napier is bringing into The Swamp, and light a spark for Florida ahead of spring camp.
