After they beat Florida Football in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl, UCF fans spent the better part of almost three years chirping that they were somehow the far superior program to Florida. Nevermind that Florida had a skeleton crew of a roster and coaching staff at that point, Florida fans have had to hear that UCF was now a member of "The Big Four."

So it was a bit cathartic for Gator fans to finally get rid of the gnat that is the Knights, and Florida's social media made sure to jump into the fun.

Florida Football: Happiest Place On Earth

Florida's social media team is usually reserved when it comes to troll jobs, but they can even resist getting in on the fun.

Prior to the game, UCF had put out in their pregame notes that they are in fact UCF and not The University of Central Florida.

Should we ask what UCF stands for?

Florida's defense did play well against UCF and held the team formally known as the Golden Knights to 11 points on 273 total yards. It was a banner performance on the season for a much-maligned unit, and on X, the Gators put out a hype video.

Make sure to watch all the way to the end, as Florida sneaks in another troll job on the Knights.

See, winning is more fun than losing.

Florida will next take on Tennessee on Saturday in Knoxville as a 17 point underdog. We can only imagine the Old Takes Exposed material that will exists if Florida pulls it off on Saturday.
