We here at Hail Florida Hail obviously love Ricky Pearsall. In 2023, the former Florida Football wide receiver fell just short of being the first Gator in 20 years to hit 1,000 yards in a single season.

But while it is easy for us to sing his praises, he has to impress NFL scouts and national media members if he ultimately wants to stick at the next level.

Judging by the reports coming out of the Senior Bowl this week, Pearsall is doing just fine.

Florida Football: Let Him Cook

Pearsall is in Mobile, AL taking part in the Senior Bowl practices for the game that will take place this Saturday at 1 PM.

Let's take a peek at how Pearsall is doing at these practices:

Yes, we here at Hail Florida Hail will acknowledge that dominating all-star game practices doesn't always mean one is going to jump to the NFL and start dominating.

But performances like the one Pearsall is having do have a way of bumping guys up draft boards of NFL GM's. And for Billy Napier, the higher Pearsall can go in the NFL Draft the better it is for the Gators because Napier has proof of concept to tell recruits and transfer prospects that if they come to Florida, they will get developed and achieve NFL dreams.

Once the dust settles from this week, we'll see where he starts to pop up on various mock drafts.
