Florida Football has been offering a bunch of prospects recently and this week they went to Atlanta to offer a top 250 wide receiver.

And based on film, he checks plenty of boxes the Gators are looking for.

Florida Football: A Town

Travis Smith is listed at 6'4" and 191 pounds. Playing for Westlake High in Atlanta, Smith is a consensus four-star prospect with On3 rating him 73rd and ESPN having him the lowest at 261st.

On film, his size is his strength and he uses it well to make plenty of high difficulty catches in traffic. He high points the ball well and is able to use his physicality to shield off defensive backs. When in the open field, his size also make him hard to bring down.

Smith has offers from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, and Tennessee. On3 has Georgia as the favorite while 247 has yet to log any predictions.

Based on film, the rating of somewhere in the 200s feel accurate, which subsequently means we might see a waiting game with some teams poking around at the elite prospects of the 2025 class.

Smith is the type of big-bodied receiver Billy Gonzales tends to go after, so we could see some traction with Florida in the coming weeks, though it is interesting that Florida offered Smith earlier this week only after he announced his top eight schools last week.
