Florida Football Recruiting: Tai Buster is getting noticed
Florida Football is still deciding what to do with its opening for a second offensive line coach, but Rob Sale is still on the recruiting trail looking for talent.
His latest scholarship offer is to a player who hasn't been on many radars but is starting to get noticed on the Power Five level.
Florida Football: Dave And Busters
Tai Buster is an offensive lineman listed at 6'5" and 280 pounds out of Kannapolis, NC. He is currently listed as a three-star prospect by On3 and Rivals while being unrated by 247 and ESPN.
He does well to get up field when needed and has a good burst off the line.
Buster doesn't seem to have the raw power right now as a couple of other linemen we have profiled, so the three-star rating is probably fair, but he does have a nasty streak to him and could be a menace once he gets in a college weight room.
Florida's offer to Buster adds to a list that has grown exponentially in the last month. Kentucky, Auburn, Penn State, and Maryland are among the schools to have offered Buster since 2024 began.
Knowing that there is always plenty of room to take multiple offensive linemen in a recruiting class, Buster might just be the type of player Florida pushes after if they think his mean streak will gel well with the culture in Gainesville.
