Wednesday is Early Signing Day and for Florida football fans it is going to be a busy one. The Gators are trying to land a couple of extra players while trying to hold on to some commits that are at risk of flipping.

If you follow recruiting closely, this list will be of zero surprise to you. But if you are a casual follower of recruiting, the following are seven players worth keeping an eye on throughout the day on Wednesday.

Florida Football Recruiting: Amaris Williams

  • Currently committed to Florida

Remember that weekend back in June after Austin Simmons flipped from Florida to Ole Miss, and then the Gators had like seven dudes commit all at once?

That was a fun time, and one of the players included in that wave of players was four-star defensive lineman and top 100 overall prospect Amaris Williams out of Clinton, NC.

Williams committed to the Gators back on June 17 following his official visit. But according to his 247 Sports timeline, Williams hasn't been back on campus since. He has, however, made official visits to Ohio State and to Auburn.

247 has him projected to flip to Ohio State, but for the past week on social media, Williams has been spamming WDE (War Damn Eagles).

Williams has done everything short of Tweeting out his Hayes graphic to indicate that he will not be a Florida Gator in 2024.
