One of the areas that Florida football has been trying to beef up is along the offensive line. Despite having two offensive line coaches, it's a unit that has felt like it has lagged behind with recruiting.

Looking for a jump start to their class of 2025, Florida is favored to land a highly regarded four-star lineman out Georgia.

Florida Football: Mean and Viscous

Peyton Joseph is a four-star interior offensive lineman out of Warner Robins, GA. Listed at 6'4" and 305 pounds, Joseph has size that few linemen can match. Of the top 50 interior offensive linemen on the 247 Sports Composite, only 12 are listed larger than 305 pounds.

On film, it is easy to see why he is considered the 5th best interior lineman in that same composite. He fires off the ball and explodes into guys with the viciousness that one expects to see from a four-star lineman.

He seeks contact why he pulls as a guard and has plenty of clips showcasing his ability to hold up in pass coverage.

Peyton is a wanted man with offers to almost anywhere one can think of. Last week he announced on February 18th he would make his verbal commitment with Florida as one of seven schools still in the running.

Adding to the hope that Peyton will commit to Florida, Chad Simmons of On3 logged an expert prediction that Peyton will wind up putting on a Gator hat.

Peyton last visited Gainesville in September when Florida rolled over Tennessee inside The Swamp. If Billy Napier and crew can harbor the good feelings from the night and pump the message of what is possible in Gainesville, there is a solid chance we could see Peyton in a Gator uniform in the near future.
