Last year one of the top wide receiver targets for Florida Football, Jeremiah Smith, hailed from Chaminade-Madonna Prep. After a long and winding process, Smith stuck with his Ohio State commitment.

The Gators are once again after a Chaminade-Madonna Prep receiver and have a visit lined up at the end of the month.

Florida Football: Koby Jack

Koby Howard is a wide receiver listed at 5'11" and 185 pounds. He played for Western High School in Davie, FL (outside Fort Lauderdale) before transferring to Chaminade-Madonna Prep this offseason.

Howard is ranked a four-star by Rivals and a mid level three-star by the other three services.

Based on film he may not be a top 150 prospect like Rivals has him, but there is enough there where the other three services should have the conversation on whether or not he is a four-star.

Howard's route running has a sense of slipperiness to it that opposing DBs can't seem to get a read on. He doesn't necessarily make catches that are of extreme difficulty, but he is able to create separation on his own so he doesn't have to.

The interesting aspect of his game is that he ran the 100 meter dash this season in 11.38 second. A respectable time for high school but far from elite. Yet on film he was frequently able to burn guys over the top and once he was in the open field there was no catching him.

Howard has a visit lined up with the Gators on May 31 according to his 247 profile. As of now, the Gators are the only official visit publicly lined up.
