Rob Sale has been on a bit of a hot streak in recruiting for Florida Football. Within the last month, he has had Peyton Joseph and Enoch Wagnoy announce commitments to play for the Gators.

He hopes to keep that trend going when he will get a second visit in as many months from an interior lineman out of IMG.

Florida Football: Catch A Stray

Kaden Strayhorn is listed as an interior lineman at 6'3" and 285 pounds. He came to IMG from Detroit and is considered a four-star prospect by ESPN and Rivals, while On3 and 247 have him as a three-star.

Based on film, this tweener three/four star status is probably accurate. Strayhorn loves contact and has no issue locking up with an opposing lineman. His Hudl claims 50 pancake blocks during the season, and often, he can wrestle his man down almost in Greco-Roman style. Strayhorn goes into each engagement with the intention of making sure his opponent doesn't want to go for a second round.

But there are times when it feels like he is too high up and times where it feels like an opposing lineman should go down following contact and doesn't, but these are things with coaching and development that can be cleaned up.

Strayhorn made a visit to Florida last month and by all indications enjoyed his visit. Florida is in his top 12 schools and he is going to come back to Gainesville on March 22 to kick off a six school tour that includes stops at FSU, Alabama, and Georgia.

We have to imagine that Sale is keeping close tabs on Strayhorn. He may not be the most headline inducing lineman of the class of 2025, but there is plenty to like with Strayhorn as his recruitment will continue to heat up.
