Florida football has been extending offer after offer towards offensive linemen lately as the Gators continue to try and shore up one of the weaknesses of the squad from 2023.

Yesterday the Gators extended an offer to an under the radar lineman out of the San Francisco area.

Florida Football: Ragdoll Physics

John Mills is a 6'6" and 315-pound offensive tackle out of St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco. Three of the four recruiting services have him rated as a three star while ESPN doesn't have him rated at all.

The star rating feels low once the film is put on considering he has the size to step into the SEC today.

Linemen can be tricky to get a feel for based on a three minute highlight package, but Mills makes great use of his film to let it be known he was the most dominant player most of the time he stepped on the field.

Mills might not "explode" off the line like a couple of other lineman prospects we have chronicled, but his power and mean streak are all on display. He is the type of lineman that isn't content to just pancake you, he will continue to drive you into the ground even after the play has moved on to the other side of the field.

Mills was in Gainesville over the weekend and Florida extended an offer, joining Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Michigan among others.
