Will Harris is continuing his trek across the country, trying to uncover defense backs for the 2025 recruiting class for Florida football.

His journey took him to New Jersey to offer one of the top rated overall players in the Garden State.

Florida Football: Hey Joe

Jahmir Joseph is a DB out of St. Joseph Regional in Montvale, NJ. Listed at 6'0" and 172 pounds, Joseph is a four-star prospect in three of the four recruiting services, with On3 grading him as a three-star.

Joseph is the type of player where if he was a couple inches taller and was listed at 6'3" he might be a top 150 prospect because on film he plays the position like someone much taller.

He explodes well to jump routes, but also keeps active hands to disrupt passes he might not have a clean jump on. Even when paired against some taller receivers, Joesph isn't afraid to battle and some plays on film where he outduels some guys that are bigger than him.

247 Sports and Rivals consider him one of the five best overall players in New Jersey. He has offers from virtually everyone in the Big 10, with Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee also extending an offer from the SEC.

With Florida extending a number of offers recently to 2025 defensive backs, it is hard to say which ones they will pick up steam with and which ones they will prioritize.

Joseph may be on the smaller side of top end defensive backs, but if he can continue to put good stuff on film his stock will continue to rise.
