The list of potential prospects continues to build for Florida Football as Spring practice is set to get underway soon.

And while the Gators grabbed two highly rated linebackers in the class of 2024, they have their eyes on another top 50 prospect from the class of 2025.

Florida Football: Wrap Up

Tavion Wallace is a linebacker out of Jesup, GA. Listed at 6'1" and 195 pounds, he is considered a top 50 prospect by On3 and 247, a top 100 prospect by ESPN, while Rivals has him ranked 169th overall.

On film, Wallace has a good feel for the game. He often lines up as an outside linebacker but does more than just plow straight ahead at the quarterback. He is willing to wait out a play, and when presented in the open field with the ball carrier, he does well to wrap up instead of always going for the big hit.

We would be more inclined to learn towards the Rivals ranking vs the top 50 proclamation. Wallace does have some good track times for a linebacker, including a 23.28 second effort in the 200 meter dash last season. On film though, there are other linebackers we have profiled with a better pop to them off the line.

Wallace is lining up his Spring schedule and is going to pay Florida an unofficial visit. It's hard to say whether this is more of a courtesy visit or if there will be real interest moving forward. Wallace currently has a crystal ball projection for FSU by 247 Sports and has official visits in the summer lined up that do not include Florida.

We imagine Florida is going to keep their eye on Wallace until he stops taking their call, but he is one Florida is going to have to put in a lot of work to snag.
