Florida football recruiting is starting to get into a groove recruiting the class of 2025, working on establishing visits and offering all the players they want to go after.

One of those guys is among the top passers in the '25 cycle, and now has a trip to Gainesville locked in in the near future.

Antwann Hill, a 4-star QB out of Warner Robins, Georgia, will be in The Swamp next weekend when Florida hosts its Junior Day.

It will mark his fourth trip to Gainesville, and next weekend could be a big step for Billy Napier and the Gators to get more involved in his recruitment.

Florida football recruiting: Consistency is key

Recruiting at a high level to set yourself up to win championships is all about consistency. Bringing in elite talent year after year is crucial to creating a roster that can make a run.

If Napier can sign DJ Lagway in the 2024 cycle, and then go get Hill in 2025, he'll prove he can recruit key positions at a high level over and over again.

On3's Industry Ranking has Hill rated as the 76th-best player in the country, the 6th-best QB in the class, and the 12th-best player coming out of Georgia.

In his junior season, he completed 203 of 312 passes (65%) for 2,732 yards, 31 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. Antwann also scored three times on the ground.

Hill was formerly committed to Deion Sanders and Colorado but is now back on the market. On3's RPM favors North Carolina right now, with Florida, Alabama, and Georgia all trying to climb back into the race.

It's possible the Gators just hang around in Hill's recruitment for a while as an underdog and stay within striking distance. If he sees Lagway get meaningful reps and succeed this season as a freshman, it could vault Florida up and improve their chances.
