Last recruiting cycle, the entire summer for Florida Football seemed to revolve around Jeremiah Smith. The five star receiver committed to Ohio State, but kept popping up on the campus of Florida.

In the end, the Gators never got enough traction to secure his flip, so it is back to the drawing board for the class of 2025 as Florida has an April visit lined up with one of the top receivers from this class.

Caleb Cunningham is listed at 6'3" and 185 pounds out of Ackerman, MS. He is a consensus top 25 prospect from all four major recruiting services and is a top four receiver nationally from all four.

His film backs up the lofty ranking as Cunningham is a menace on the field. Given his size, he can rise up and make almost any catch thrown his way. He can go over a defensive back, toe-touch the sideline, or leap backward and land on his back.

But he also processes a run after catch ability that is also top tier. Screen plays turn into touchdowns with ease and he feels like a nightmare to try and bring down. He has participated in track with respectable marks in the jumps, including a 43 foot triple jump as a freshmen.

The belief is that Mississippi State has the inside track for his commitment. 247 and On3 have the Bulldogs as heavy favorites. But Florida is in his final 12 and he announced earlier this week that he will be making a stop in Gainesville in April.

Billy Napier and DJ Lagway will push hard for Cunningham. We'll see after his visit how much momentum the Gators have or don't have following his visit.
