The roller coaster of good news to bad news and back to good news continued for Florida Football on Sunday. While the Gators lost one of their offensive line coaches, Darnell Stapleton, with no clear replacement in sight, Florida gained the commitment of four-star lineman Peyton Joseph.

Florida Football: Pey Day

Joseph is listed at 6'4" and 315 pounds and is considered by the 247 Sports Composite as the 4th best interior offensive lineman in the class of 2025.

We first highlighted Joseph in April of last year when he first popped up on the radar for the Gators. At the time we said:

"His tape, however, showcases a player that isn’t afraid to get dirty and isn’t afraid of contact. Right off the bat, Joseph helps out with one block on the inside before turning his hip and leveling a guy on the outside to the ground.

He stays low and never stops looking for someone to block. Joseph frequently pancakes a guy and continues upfield, looking for the next guy."

The commitment of Joseph gives Florida four commitments from the class of 2025, headlined by top 100 overall defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins.
