No, Florida didn't have a bowl game this year. But Gator fans learned a few things watching others play in their bowl games.

Are we sure about Willy Korn?

One of the things that the majority of Gator fans believe is that Billy Napier needs to hire an offensive coordinator for 2024. For the record, we here at Hail Florida Hail are among those that believe change is needed.

One of the names that keeps being thrown around is Liberty offensive coordinator Willy Korn. The connection makes sense given that Korn was a QB for Napier at Clemson when Napier was the OC, and Liberty had a high flying offense this season that was top ten in the country in points per game.

Well it turns out it is easy to put up a ton of points when you play the 139th ranked schedule in the country, and Liberty's smoke and mirrors were exposed as the Flames were routed by Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.

After an early touchdown, Liberty was held scoreless the rest of the way.

Not exactly the kind of performance that will get boosters to pony up the big bucks.
