Florida Football New Year's Resolutions: Less money for renovations, more money for NIL

We sure someone is going to pop up and say "You can't just take money that is earmarked for stadium renovations and use it for NIL. That is against the rules."

All we know is that Florida somehow has over $400 million to renovate Ben Hill Griffin Stadium but doesn't have the money to keep up in NIL, at least from a preception standpoint.

Again, this is a perception vs reality thing and boosters would probably argue that Florida's NIL helped secure DJ Lagway and LJ McCray.

But the flip fest away from Florida wasn't just to championship-winning programs. Jamonta Waller and Amaris Williams flipped to 6-6 Auburn. Adarius Hayes flipped to 7-5 Miami. Izaiah Williams and Kendall Jackson went to 7-5 Texas A&M.

So do whatever accounting magic one has to do for a few less dollars towards the stadium and a few more dollars towards NIL.
