Florida Football Jerrae Hawkins

Are you a fan of Tre Wilson and think he should have gotten the ball more this past season? Well what if we told you that Florida is getting a player even faster than Wilson?

We have profiled Jerrae Hawkins several times on our site, but it bears repeating just how fast he is. At the Texas Relays back in April, Hawkins ran the 100 meter dash in 10.37 seconds. In May he posted to his X account a race of him running 10.30 seconds.

To give an idea of how fast 10.30 seconds is, he would have finished just outside the top 100 nationally in D1 track and field as a high school junior.

If you are a fan that longs for the days when Florida football also doubled as the Florida track and field team, Hawkins is your guy.
