#1 Georgia beats TCU 65-7 in the National Title Game

We are cheating a little bit with this one as technically the title game is not counted as a bowl game, but for the purpose of this list it serves as another reminder it isn't a great idea to give up 65 points.

To be fair to TCU, they did actually beat Michigan to earn the right to play Georgia, a factoid that seems like it has been forgotten about.

But 2022 also had the feel of a last stand for TCU as the 2023 squad lost a ton of players from the title appearance team.

The end result was an opening day loss to Colorado, which felt like a big deal at the time but as the season progressed it was obvious that both teams were just bad.

TCU finished the season 5-7 and did not go to a bowl game.
