Florida Baseball: The Awards Keep Coming

Caglianone was dubbed the SEC Preseason Player of the Year by D1Baseball. The honor makes sense as Caglianone had a monster sophomore campaign that saw him breakout as a two-way star in college baseball.

Last season Caglianone hit a school record 33 home runs while batting .323 with 90 RBIs in just 71 games.

On the mound, Caglianone went 7-4 with a 4.34 ERA and 87 strikeouts over 74 innings pitched.

Opening day is February 16 when the Gators take on St. John's.
