The SEC released their preseason coaches poll on Thursday and coaches in the SEC anticipate Florida to repeat as SEC East champs in 2024.

Florida received 11 first place votes out of 14, with Tennessee collecting two first place votes and Vanderbilt receiving the other first place vote. The Gators were 20-10 in SEC play last season, finishing one game ahead of Vanderbilt.

Arkansas was voted the most likely to win the SEC West and was voted first overall in the SEC. Florida only received two first place votes to win the conference outright. Last year the Gators split the regular season title with Arkansas, who also went 20-10 in SEC play.

LSU, who won the national title over Florida last season, received three votes to win the SEC in 2024.

The Gators will open their season on February 16th at home against St. John's.
