Hope springs eternal for Florida Football as fall camp is officially underway for the 2024 season. The Gators enter training camp with a plethora of pathways the year could take, and trying to accurately predict what is for sure going to happen will require the foresight of Nostradamus.

But even if we don't know for sure how things are going to play out, there are still some storylines heading into the season that will define the 2024 Gators, depending upon which way they go.

The following are five storylines we are going to be watching for as the 2024 season progresses.

Which Version Of The Offensive Line Will We Get?

In 2022, Pro Football Focus ranked Florida's offensive line 15th nationally in run blocking and 34th in pass blocking. Those numbers dropped to 26th and 63rd, respectively, in 2023.

The Gators have weapons on the offensive, with Tre Wilson, Montrell Johnson, and Elijhah Badger among the guys Graham Mertz can get the ball to, and good things happen.

But if the offensive line looks like it did in 2023, the Gators could have Justin Jefferson and Tyreek Hill to throw to, and it wouldn't matter.

There is reason to believe the line will be better given some shuffling and a couple of key transfers, but until we see it in action for real, we just won't know.
