Florida Goes 8-4

"BuT BEn, YOu saID YEstERdAY FLOriDA waS goINg 4-8."

The duality and bipolar nature of trying to predict Florida's season is that there is a real pathway for Florida to go 4-8 and there is a real pathway they go 8-4.

Florida has the 12th-ranked roster on 247's Talent Composite, which is better than 8 of their 12 opponents in 2024. We are on record stating that Miami and Texas A&M feel over ranked, and we have a sneaking feeling that FSU will come back to Earth in 2024.

Last year Florida was a trainwreck on defense, bland on offense, and as disorganized as anyone on special teams, and were still just two plays away from a 7-5 season.

Like we said yesterday until you have done it, you haven't done it, and as close as Napier has felt, the reality is that he is 11-14. But for the past two years, Florida has been the team attempting a PR on bench press that can get the bar part of the way up but just can't lock out.

With just the slightest improvement, this is a team capable of going on a run.
