Florida Won't Miss The Guy Who Transferred To Georgia

Back when a particular backup running back opted to transfer to a specific school up north, we wrote that it was major hit to Napier from a perception standpoint. You had a prominent player who received plenty of playing time who looked at the state of the program and said "Nah, I'm out."

But now that the 2024 season is here, running back feels like one of Florida's more robust units. Montrell Johnson's status is still up in the air for the opener, but behind him are a number of exciting options.

Treyaun Webb looked solid last year in the limited action he got, Jadan Baugh drew rave reviews from the spring game, KD Daniels is a freshman whose praises we have sang ever since Florida offered him, and even Cam Carroll and JUCO transfer Ja'Kobi Jackson have the potential to be solid contributors if needed.
