Five most mediocre Florida Football quarterbacks in program history
Some QBs are great. Some QBs are bad. Then some QBs are just thoroughly average

Doug Johnson
- 1996 to 1999
- 7,114 Passing Yards
- 55.6% Completion Rate
- 62 TDs/32 INTs
Following a legend like Danny Wuerffel can be tough, and it's not like Doug Johnson played poorly during this time as a Gator.
His 62 TDs are the 7th most in program history and he is top ten in all time passing yards.
But his 55.6% completion rate is 18th among the 30 QBs who have attempted at least 200 passes, and his -372 rushing yards are third worst in program history.
Also complicating his legacy is that he fell out of favor during the 1999 season, to the point that Steve Spurrier rotated him and Jesse Palmer by the end of the season.
