Jeff Driskel

  • 2011- 2014
  • 3,411 Passing Yards
  • 59.4% Completion Rate
  • 23 TDs/20 INTs

Once upon a time, Jeff Driskel was seen as the successor to Tim Tebow. Part of the class of 2011, Driskel was the number one ranked dual-threat QB in the country and seemed to have everything needed to lead Florida back to the promised land.

He had a respectable 2012 campaign with a 63% completion rate and 12 TDs against five INTs. Driskel also had over 400 yards rushing that season as Florida finished 11-2.

Unfortunately for Driskel, injuries robbed him of what could have been. He broke his leg against Tennessee during the 2013 season, and when he came back in 2014, he wasn't the same. He had a 53% completion rate in 2014 and a negative TD to INT ratio, along with just 4.1 yards per passing attempt.

Driskel transferred to Louisiana Tech, was drafted in the 6th round of the NFL Draft in 2016, and has managed to hang around the league ever since as a backup. He is currently on the roster with Washington.
