Second Linebacker

  • Incumbent - Mannie Nunnery
  • Contenders - Pup Howard, Myles Graham, Aaron Chiles

Perhaps Mannie Nunnery saw the writing on the wall when he entered the transfer portal, but he has since removed himself from the portal and will be back with the Gators in 2024.

And with the departure of Scooby Williams, this would give Nunnery the inside track to play alongside Shemar James, but three new faces coming to town should give Nunnery a run for his money.

Pup Howard was originally a sought after prospect in the class of 2023 that signed with South Carolina. He is coming in to Gainesville for 2024 after a solid season as a backup linebacker for the Gamecocks where he didn't miss a single tackle.

Myles Graham and Aaron Chiles are the one-two punch Florida was able to sign to help headline the class of 2024. Graham is on campus this spring while Chiles will arrive in the fall. Both should make a push for early playing time.
