Second Running Back

  • Incumbent - Treyaun Webb
  • Contenders - Cam Carroll, Kahnen Daniels

With Montrell Johnson coming back and Trevor Etienne leaving for Georgia, there is an opening for Florida's second running back in rotation.

There is a pathway Napier might just opt to use Johnson as a workhorse back, but that hasn't been his preference while in Gainesville.

This would leave Treyaun Webb as the only other back on the roster that took any collegiate snaps last season. And in the limited time we got to see Webb, he did look solid.

But let's not forget about Cam Carroll, who looked great in the Spring Game after transferring from Tulane, but tore his ACL during preseason camp and missed the 2023 season.

And then there is incoming freshman Kahnen Daniels, who shot up the rankings boards after a monster senior season in Mississippi.
