Feleipe Franks

After suffering through Luke Del Rio and Austin Appleby in 2016, Gator fans were excited about the potential Feleipe Franks brought to the table in 2017. He was a big armed prospect that could run and his Hail Mary against Tennessee in 2017 made Florida fans feel like the sky was the limit.

Unfortunately for Franks, his accuracy in 2017 and 2018 was a major talking point for Gator fans and he entered the 2019 season needing to prove himself.

But on the fateful night in Lexington, KY the Gators were down 21-10 and the daggers online were out for Franks. He rushed up the middle on a fourth down play and was rolled up on, resulting in a broken leg and was carted off in an air cast.

Kyle Trask entered to save the day and Franks never got to finish his story at Florida. He transferred to Arkansas for the 2020 season and spent some time in the NFL as a tight end with the Atlanta Falcons.
