Not everyone on defense has been the problem

T.J. Searcy: C- (139 snaps)

He's just good enough in run support to avoid a lower grade, but for someone who has had as many snaps as he's had T.J. Searcy has had minimal impact in the backfield.

Searcy has just four hurries on the season with no hits on the QB and no sakcs.

George Gumbs: D (158 snaps)

The obsession Billy Napier has with George Gumbs is befuddling, to say the least. He has had the most snaps of anyone along the defense line and while he had a couple of flash plays against Samford, he is among the least productive members of the defensive line.

With three hurries and one hit on the QB, Gumbs has the exact same metrics as Justus Boone, who has taken 88 fewer snaps on the season.

DJ Douglas: F (171 snaps)

Our goal here at Hail Florida Hail is to never make this personal when it comes to the players, so we are going to state this as diplomatically as possible:

DJ Douglas has ten missed tackles on the season. No one else for Florida has more than four.
