The loss Florida Basketball took on Sunday in the SEC Championship game to Auburn felt secondary, given the injury suffered by Micah Handlogten. Early in the game, Handlogten had to be stretchered off the court after suffering a broken leg. He has since had successful surgery and will join the Gators in Indianapolis.

It would be easy for Auburn to take their win and move on with their own team, given they have the NCAA Tournament to worry about as well, but that didn't stop Tigers' head coach Bruce Pearl from taking time to send a thoughtful message on X to Handlogten.

Florida Basketball: Thinking Of You

Standing outside his team plane, Pearl and several other Auburn players recorded a one-minute video showing support for the injured Gator.

"Micah, you're a warrior man. You're a beast. God's always had a plan for you and I know your faith is strong. You're going to come out on the other side of this better, and your team missed you. You guys are going to have another great year next year. War Eagle brother."
