Prior to the season, tickets for the game against Florida and Texas were the hardest to get for the 2025 home slate of the Gators. Even as recent as August it would have been tough to get a ticket anywhere in The Swamp for under $250, even on the resale market.
But now that game day is here and Billy Napier has tanked the program to a 1-3 start, combined with Arch Manning struggling out of the gate, this once red-hot ticket has gone ice cold.
Tickets for Florida vs. Texas have free fallen
Depending on the site one goes on, there are tickets into The Swamp going for under $70, and there are plenty of them available.

To understand how insane this is, tickets for the USF game were going for about the same rate a month ago.
And to also understand how insane this is, face value for all of these tickets was well north of $200 prior to the start of the season.
What was once supposed to be a celebration of Florida Football and had the preseason potential of GameDay coming to town has turned into an afternoon of "Fine, I guess we'll go. But bail at halftime if needed, right?"
We here at Hail Florida Hail have long chronicled the issues with the Billy Napier Era and are surprised he made it through the bye week. But this is also Scott Stricklin we are talking about, who just seems content to watch The Swamp burn.
Napier had commented earlier in the week how it would be nice to play in front of the home fans again, but these ticket prices indicate the excitement and juice for this game just isn't there.
But hey, if you live near Gainesville and want a last-minute deal to see the Gators, opportunities are available.
