The 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, commonly known as March Madness, is set to get underway in short order. The 68-team, single-elimination tournament will span three weeks.
The tournament will begin with the First Four on March 18-19 at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio.
The First and Second Rounds are scheduled for March 20 and 22 in the following locations:
- Amica Mutual Pavilion, Providence, Rhode Island
- Rupp Arena, Lexington, Kentucky
- Intrust Bank Arena, Wichita, Kansas
- Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado
Additionally, games on March 21 and 23 will take place at:
- Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio
- Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- PNC Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina
- Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle, Washington
The Regional Semifinals and Finals, known as the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight, are slated for March 27-30 in these cities:
- East Regional: Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey
- West Regional: Chase Center, San Francisco, California
- South Regional: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia
- Midwest Regional: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana
The culmination of March Madness, the Final Four, will be held on April 5 and 7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. This marks the fifth time San Antonio has hosted the Final Four, with previous events in 1998, 2004, 2008, and 2018.
Last year the UConn Huskies navigated the tournament to successful defend their NCAA Championship in men's basketball.
