Miami fans seem to care more about taunting FSU than worrying about Florida

It's clear Canes fans aren't taking the Gators seriously.

These days, it's easy to overlook Florida football a little bit. Hey, we're not going to pretend that things are perfect for the Gators, as the home loss to USF still is haunting people and the road defeat at LSU managed to make things even worse.

However, could this prove to be a 'trap game' for Miami and head man Mario Cristobal? That's what the Florida faithful are hoping for. During College GameDay, it sure seems like Canes fans aren't taking the Gators too seriously either, as at some points it felt like they were more worried about trolling FSU instead. Could this end up being a good thing for DJ Lagway and the rest of the locker room?

Injury report ahead of the Florida Gators taking on Miami

DJ Lagway and Florida are hoping to pull off a stunner against Miami football

We fully understand why Miami is riding high right now. The Canes are 3-0 on the year and Carson Beck has been sensational. He's now the new favorite to win the Heisman Trophy this campaign, as he's off to a brilliant start since making the move to ACC country from Georgia.

As for Florida, no one expected the program to be 1-2 at this point of the season. Napier has plenty of people pretty upset with what's going on and things need to change as soon as possible if he wants to stick around in Gainesville for the long haul.

Lagway needs to be at his best for Florida to have a shot in this one. Against the Tigers, Florida hung tough with LSU in Baton Rouge, but Lagway finished tossing five interceptions - five! Napier isn't planning to make a switch at QB, as he still has full belief in his 5-star signal-caller.

Miami DC Corey Hetherman will look to make life tough for Lagway, but it will be on him to overcome adversity and lead the Gators down the field. Not many people are giving Florida a chance to pull off an upset. That and what went down at College GameDay should fuel the Gators to surprise everyone out there.
