It's hard to lose behind 51 combined points between Alijah Martin and Walter Clayton Jr. However, it is significantly more impressive when it's against the Auburn Tigers in the Final Four of the men's NCAA Tournament.

Yet, after two halves and an absolute clobberfest, the Gators walked away with a respectable six-point victory over the Tigers, sending Auburn packing after a 79-73 loss. Afterwards, Florida fans had an appropriate response to defeating one of the top teams in the country.

Immediately, the Florida athletics department started releasing graphics and posts with the Gators' dub, even going as far as to boast about the fact that it isn't too bad to be a Florida fan, despite previous beliefs.

Of course, it's no small feat to make it to the Final Four and then demolish a fellow No. 1-seed to advance to the National Championship game. Nonetheless, the Gators did it in resounding fashion, defeating their SEC opponent to move on to the final game of the season.

Despite holding one of the four No. 1 seeds in the nation, less than 17 percent of the country picked the Gators to win the national title, despite Florida playing some of the best basketball in the nation as the postseason progressed.

Of course, the Gator crowd celebrated the resounding win over a team that was favored to make it to the National Championship, before the season even tipped off.

Florida moved on to the national title game where the Gators would face the winner of the Houston-Duke semifinal game. The National Championship was scheduled to tip off at 8:50 p.m. CT on Monday, April 7. The game would be broadcast on CBS.
