There is no defending DJ Lagway after the meltdown he had against Kentucky. His three interceptions on Saturday bring him to nine on the season, and it was a performance so bad that Billy Gonzales was forced to pull the plug and put Tramell Jones in during the 2nd half.
Who knows what will happen long-term with Lagway, but a certain troll that Florida fans are hoping to lure to Gainesville made sure he was paying close attention.

It's a subtle, sly, but intentional dig at the Gators. It's also not the first time he has made these kinds of digs at Florida. For example, when he lured Austin Simmons to Oxford and got the four-star QB to flip, Kiffin posted a Tom Petty playlist to his timeline.
But with Kiffin, it feels even more significant this time, given the narrative surrounding him. Ole Miss shut out The Citadel 49-0 on Saturday to move to 9-1 on the season. If the Rebels can beat Florida this upcoming Saturday, it will also assure Ole Miss a spot in the playoffs.
And yet, Kiffin is the single hottest candidate to take over in Gainesville for Billy Napier. And unlike a number of other coaches around the country, Kiffin has done nothing to shut down the rumors of him coming to Florida. He could sign an extension at any moment with Ole Miss, and he hasn't.
So to recap, we have a rival college football coach taking note of an upcoming opponent having its five-star QB get benched, all while that same coach may or may not wind up being the coach of the school he is poking at next season.
