As Florida Football gets ready to take on Tulane in the Gasparilla Bowl, a handful of mainstays from the 2024 season are going to miss the finale.
While some names listed on the injury report were expected, a couple of late additions will have Florida using depth on Friday.
Florida Football: Next man up
The most notable of names listed as out today are Caleb Banks and Cam Jackson. Banks had announced earlier in the offseason he would be returning for the 2025 season, but he suffered an injury in the game against FSU that will keep him out today.
The same goes for Cam Jackson, who is in his final season of eligibility. He had previously posted he was going to try and play in the bowl game, but ultimately, the injury he sustained against FSU will keep him out.
Along the offensive line, Dameion George and Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson will be out. George missed against FSU while there had not been indications that Crenshaw-Dickson would miss. Caden Jones is slated to make his first start at right guard.
In total, 17 players for Florida as listed as out, including Jameer Grimsley being ruled out with a knee issue.
