The 1st round of the NFL Draft has come and gone, and the Florida Gators didn't have anyone selected in the 1st round. That ends a five-year streak of having someone selected in the first round.

But the Gators did square off in 2024 against 13 players who were selected in the 1st round and this is how those players did in their matchup versus Florida.

Cam Ward (QB) - 1st Overall - Week 1 Miami Vs. Florida

Yeah, the game we would rather all forget the game that officially put Cam Ward on the map as a potential number-one pick; the Gators were shredded by Ward en route to a 41-17 defeat.

Ward was 26 for 35 for 385 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 36 yards.

Will Campbell (OT) - 4th Overall - Week 12 LSU Vs. Florida

Will Campbell allowed just two sacks the entire season. One of them came against Florida as the Gators flipped the script against a LSU's highly touted offensive line.

Campbell also gave up three pressures and two hurries and had a penalty called against him. According to PFF his performance against Florida was his 4th worst of the season.

Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT) - 9th Overall - Week 11 Texas Vs. Florida

Part of why Florida's performance against LSU felt like it came out of nowhere was because the week before, the defensive line against Texas got nowhere near the backfield.

Kelvin Banks Jr. had a near-perfect day as he gave up zero pressures against the Gators. He was called for one penalty.

Mykel Williams (EDGE) - 11th overall - Week 10 Georgia Vs. Florida

Mykel Williams had a decent day against the Gators but Florida was able to mitigate him enough. Williams had two hurries and a hit on the QB, but he didn't have any sacks.

He did have two tackles, both of which were considered stops.

Jalon Walker (LB) - 15th overall - Week 10 Georgia Vs. Florida

For as much as Florida struggled to move the ball against Georgia once DJ Lagway went down, Jalon Walker was kind of invisible in this game.

In 47 snaps, he had just one tackle, along with zero pressures on the QB. It was his worst PFF-graded performance of the season.

Walter Nolen (DT) - 16th overall - Week 13 Ole Miss Vs. Florida

Florida was able to shut down the Ole Miss offense on this day, but it was tough sledding on offense at times for the Gators as well. Florida averaged just 3.4 yards per carry and Walter Nolen played a big part.

He had six tackles, two of which were sacks on top of two other pressures on the QB against Florida.

Shemar Stewart (EDGE) - 17th overall - Week 3 Vs. Florida

During the draft when Stewart was taken they showed a clip of him stopping a run play against the Gators. But in truth that was the only real play he made the entire day against Florida.

He had two hurries and no sacks against Florida. He had three total tackles while missing a tackle.

Jahdae Barron (CB) - 20th overall - Week 11 Vs. Florida

Florida's offense couldn't move the ball all day against Texas and Jahdae Barron had a solid game against the Gators.

He was targeted four times and gave up just one reception for six yards.

Matthew Golden (WR) - 23rd overall - Week 11 Vs. Florida

Again, this is a game most Gator fans have tried to flush from their memory banks, but Matthew Golden also had a good day against Florida.

He had three catches for 64 yards, two of which were touchdowns.

Jaxson Dart (QB) - 25th overall - Week 13 Ole Miss Vs. Florida

Now to a game Florida fans have stored in their memory bank, Dart didn't have a "terrible" game against the Gators, but he was unable to come up with the big throws in the clutch.

He went 24 for 41 for 323 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. His 7.9 yards per attempt was his second-lowest total of the season.

James Pearce Jr. (EDGE) - 26th overall - Week 7 Tennessee Vs. Florida

Now, back to a moment we would rather forget, James Pearce Jr. was the player who forced Graham Mertz to fumble at the goal line during Florida's overtime loss to Tennessee.

He had four tackles in that game, but he had just one hurry on the QB.

Malaki Starks (S) - 27th overall - Week 10 Georgia Vs. Florida

Malaki Starks didn't have a great game against Florida. He only had two tackles, and Aidan Mizell beat him on the 43-yard touchdown that gave Florida the lead in the 2nd quarter.

Maxwell Hairston (CB) - 30th overall - Kentucky

Perhaps one of the reasons why Florida was able to torch Kentucky was Maxwell Hairston missed the matchup due to a shoulder injury.
