Opening weekend of college football gave a chance for the Gators to bust out a number of new players on the roster who transfered into the program, but it was also a chance for players who transfered out to debut at their new home.
According to On3’s database, Florida had 30 players transfer out after last season during the transition to Jon Sumrall.
Here is how each player fared during their debut weekend with their new team.

Cameron Kossmann - Boston College: DNP
Tony Livingston - Baylor: Took 20 snaps in Baylor’s loss to Auburn. He did not catch a pass, and his blocking was suspect.
Enoch Wangoy - Ole Miss: DNP
Scott Isacks - UAB: His 42 snaps against Illinois were more snaps than he had combined at Florida. Isacks had one catch for 15 yards and was used mostly in run blocking.
Noel Portnjagin: James Madison - DNP
Ja'Kobi Jackson - Ohio State: He took 23 snaps against Ball State and ran the ball eight times for 83 yards and a TD.
Muizz Tounkara - Houston: DNP
Devon Manuel - Appalachian State: One of the stranger players in Florida history who was a solid tackle with Arkansas, but then never cracked the rotation in two years with the Gators. he was the starting left tackle for App State this weekend and he didn’t give up any sacks.
Brien Taylor - New Orleans Saints: He was in the portal, but then he signed with the Saints for training camp. He was released at the end of training camp.
Evan Noel - Houston: DNP
Treyaun Webb - Appalachian State: He took nine snaps and ran the ball four times. He did score a touchdown.
Marcus Mascoll - Georgia State: 37 snaps as a rotational tackle for the Panthers. He did not give up any sacks.
Naeshaun Montgomery - Missouri: Took 59 snaps in Missouri’s opening win over Arkansas Pine Bluff. He had three catches for 47 yards.
DJ Lagway - Baylor: We chronicled Lagway’s performance over the weekend. He was 27 of 54 for 333 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a fumble.
Mack Mulhern - LSU: One-time backup long snapper for Florida took 2 snaps against Clemson.
Hayden Craig - LSU: DNP
Aidan Mizell - UCLA: Looks like UCLA has a plan for Mizell, but he was apparently hurt, and he did not play in UCLA’s opener.
Eugene Wilson III - LSU: Took 58 snaps in LSU’s win over Clemson. Was targeted five times and finished with just four receptions for 35 yards.
Jameer Grimsley - Mississippi State: Took 21 snaps as a rotational corner for the Bulldogs. He was credited with a pass breakup.
Jordan Castell - Kentucky: 51 snaps against Youngstown State. Had seven total tackles, but his pass coverage was about what we have seen in the past at Florida.
Tank Hawkins - Washington State: Took 18 snaps in the Apple Cup. Had one catch for five yards.
Aaron Gates - Kentucky: Took 41 snaps against Youngstown State. The lone passing touchdown the Penguins scored was after Gates got burned trying to follow his man across the formation.
Teddy Foster - USF: 56 snaps as a starting corner for USF. Mostly an average game with four tackles and no clear coverage busts.
Grayson Howard - USF: Just 10 snaps against FIU. He was credited with one tackle.
Michai Boireau - Ole Miss: 22 snaps as a rotational NT for Ole Miss. He had one QB pressure and zero tackles.
KD Daniels - Wake Forest: Just 12 snaps with two rushing attempts for seven yards.
Jackson Wade - Boston College: Considering he took 26 total snaps as a Gator on offense, his ten snaps on offense against Cincinnati were an uptick. He had one catch for one yard.
Hayden Hansen - Oklahoma: 37 total snaps on offense. He had one catch for 15 yards, and his blocking was solid enough.
Sharif Denson - Ole Miss: After taking over 1,000 snaps with the Gators, Denson was expected to be a key cog for Ole Miss this season as he had been getting solid reviews in camp. However, he did not play on Sunday because of an injury.
Josiah Davis - Norfolk State: Played 36 snaps against ODU and had a sack and an interception.
