It has been a busy couple of weeks for Todd Golden and his staff since winning the national title two weeks ago. Given Florida's late run in the NCAA Tournament, the Gators have gotten a late jump on figuring out their roster for the 2025/26 season.

And while Florida has had a couple of names depart from the program, including the unexpected departure of Denzel Aberdeen, the Gators are not one afraid to search high and wide for a replacement.

French guard Evan Boisdur told Hail Florida Hail's Robert Devlin that Florida has been in contact with him. Boisdur added that he has finalized plans with the coaching staff for a Zoom meeting on Wednesday.

In the France ProA U21 League. Boisur averaged 21.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.0 assists through roughly thirty-three minutes of action. He also added an average of 2.6 steals during his play.

A frequent headliner of French highlights, Boisur is reportedly looking to continue his playing career in the United States. The Gators have displayed interest, potentially looking to add to an expansive list of international prospects on the roster.

This wouldn't be the first time that Golden has gone over to Europe to pick out talent for the Gators. This past season Florida utilized Urban Klavzar in rotation during the middle to back end part of the season. The Gators also had Kajus Kublickas from Lithuania on the roster and had other international players Alex Condon, Viktor Mikic, Rueben Chinyelu, and Olivier Rioux as part of the squad

Adding guards this offseason is the main priority for Golden and the Gators. Florida will have to adjust for the losses of Walter Clayton Jr., Alijah Martin, and Will Richard graduating and being out of eligibility.

On top of that, Kajus Kublickas and Denzel Aberdeen both opted to hit the transfer portal.
