During his time with the Florida Gators, Jonathan Odom was a primarily blocking tight end who had to contend with injuries during his tenure in Gainesville. The son of a former Gator and Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Jason Odom, Johnathan was on the roster from 2020 through 2023 before transferring out to Eastern Michigan.

And since it's open season on Billy Napier right now following his loss to USF, Jonathan Odom unloaded on Napier with an accusation of how he was treated following a play that knocked him out of the 2023 season.

Jonathan Odom takes to social media to blast Billy Napier

Odom's 2023 season was cut short after suffering a concussion against Kentucky. As it turned out, that would be the last play Odom would have in college.

But according to Odom on social media, he claims that Napier accused him of faking the concussion.

Odom tore his ACL to close out the 2022 campaign, but recovered in time to play the first four games in 2023. He transferred to Eastern Michigan, but another injury before the start of 2024 forced him to step away from football for good.

Odom was far from the only former Florida Gator to take to social media to let it be known they were done with Napier.

Jacob Copeland, La'Mical Perine, and Shannon Snell were among the former players who weren't interested in making excuses for the current Gator head coach.

If you are keeping score at home, Billy Napier is now 20-20 as the head coach of the Gators. The loss to USF was the 6th time he has lost to an unranked opponent since arriving in Gainesville.

And the schedule doesn't get any easier for Florida as the Gators are now set to go on the road against LSU and Miami in back-to-back weeks.
