One of the things that has changed college football in the modern era through the transfer portal is the increased urgency of rivalry games. Fans are left wondering sometimes whether players have the same level of investment in hating an arch nemesis as they do, especially when players transfer to those same arch nemesis.

So even though former Florida wide receiver Jacob Copeland transferred out his senior season, he made it known on social media that he still doesn't like one of Florida's main rivals.

Jacop Copeland still doesn't like Georgia

Copeland took to social media to tweet out a somewhat NFSW tweet that let it be known he still doesn't like Georgia:

Even though Copeland transferred out to Maryland for his senior season after Dan Mullen got fired and Billy Napier got hired, he has still referenced Florida on his X account from time to time.

Last week, he referenced the infamous "Shoe throw," noting it was the first game in college he had gone over 100 yards, and tweeted out an old training video of him from Gainesville.

Copeland spent four seasons with Florida, amassing 86 catches for 1,366 yards during his time with the Gators. His signing day went viral after he chose Florida over Alabama, which drew some interesting reactions from his family.

He is one of the few Gators in the modern era who can lay claim to beating Georgia on the field, though he did not have a catch in the 2020 win over the Bulldogs.

After transferring from Florida to Maryland, Copeland had 26 catches for 376 yards with the Terps in 2022.

He went undrafted in 2023 and then bounced around four different NFL teams but never played a down in a regular-season game. He also had contracts with the DC Defenders of the UFL and the Edmonton Elks of the CFL, but he also didn't play a down with them.
