The transfer portal is underway and for the most part Florida Football hasn't had too many players hit the portal. And outside of a couple of players, none of the players who hit the portal were a great suprise to Gator fans.

The following are the 11 scholarship players who have so far hit the transfer portal, not counting walkons who are trying to depart.

TE Arlis Boardingham

A starter from the beginning of the year, Arlis Boardingham saw his snap count shrink as the season progressed, and he wasn't even used against FSU despite being healthy.

DL Kelby Collins

Kelby Collins was one of the headliners from the class of 2023, but after a decent freshman campaign, the Gators tried to move him inside to defensive tackle, and he just never cracked the rotation in 2024.

He's been in contact with other SEC schools including Texas A&M, Alabama, and South Carolina.

CB Ja'Keem Jackson

The other headliner from the class of 2023, Ja'Keem Jackson was a starter to being 2024. But he struggled against Miami and then promptly suffered an injury that knocked him out for the season.

Predictions have him landing at LSU.

Edge Quincy Ivory

A JUCO prospect that Gators brought in ahead of 2023, Quincy Ivory was used exclusively on special teams in 2024.

OL Christian Williams

A former three-star as part of the class of 2022, Christian Williams only ever got mop-up duty snaps on offense during his time with Florida.

OT Mike Williams

A three-star from the class of 2024, Mike Williams didn't take a snap this season.

TE Gavin Hill

He came to Florida as a four-star defensive lineman out of the class of 2023, but he switched over to tight end ahead of the 2024 season. Even with snaps available as Boardingham's playing time decreased, Hill didn't take a snap in 2024.

WR Andy Jean

Andy Jean came to Gainesville as part of the talented trio of wide receivers in the class of 2023. Eugene Wilson, when healthy, has been productive, and Aidan Mizell has flashed in spots, but Jean always felt like the odd man out.

Injuries derailed his 2024 campaign and he leaves Gainesville with six total catches.

DL Justus Boone

There were high hopes for Justus Boone coming into 2024. He had a solid 2022 season but tore his ACL ahead of the 2023 season. After 20 snaps against Miami, his snap count seldom went over 15 for the rest of the season, and by the end of the year, he was also seldom seen.

LB Deuce Spurlock

He transferred from Michigan ahead of the 2023 season but never cracked the lineup. Deuce Spurlock didn't take a snap during the 2024 campaign.

EDGE Jack Pyburn

Of all the players for Florida who hit the portal, Jack Pyburn was the most shocking. Reports came out that Pyburn had NIL demands but also demands over playing time that led him to hit the portal.

Rumblings are that Pyburn isn't opposed to coming back to Florida, but he also has his eye on Texas A&M.
