The highlight for FSU in 2024 was when Florida Football ran to midfield and planted a flag to kick off a melee that featured the Seminoles showing a fight they had not shown all season. The Seminoles finished their season 2-10 and are hoping they can regroup for 2025.

One player the Seminoles picked up in the transfer portal swore up and down that he would help change the narrative to prevent that from happening again.

Well, to do that, you need to be on the team, and that same player is back in the transfer portal after just one semester in Tallahassee.

Florida Football: Who Are You?

Jordan Scott was a transfer portal wide receiver FSU picked up in the winter from Southwest Mississippi Community College. After George Gumbs planted a flag in the middle of Doak Campbell Stadium and made Mike Norvell go ask for a manager, Scott tweeted:

"Wait till next year. Promise you we coming for it all #NolesUp #ChangeThe Narrative"

Well, 247 is reporting that Scott will be hitting the transfer portal after just one semester with Norvell, and he will not, in fact, be coming for Florida.

Florida is set to host FSU this year on November 29. The Gators are coming off an 8-5 campaign that featured a 31-11 win over the Seminoles that kicked off the flag planting.

Florida is riding the hopes and dreams of DJ Lagway being healthy in 2025 and is coming off a spring game that saw freshman Dallas Wilson gain the attention of plenty of people nationwide.

FSU did not hold a spring game while Doak Campbell Stadium undergoes renovations. The Seminoles, on paper will be led by Boston College transfer Thomas Castellanos at quarterback in 2025.

But for better or for worse for Castellanos, he won't have Scott to throw.
